A NEAT LEAD ON ORPHA KLINKER'S OLYPIC IMAGE

Athletic Club Magazine, "Mercury" for May 12, 1932, illustrated by Orpha Klinker.

This image is a great lead for The Museum's on-going research about the Olympic Games and the involvement of Los Angeles.
"You have to look very very closely to be able to see the masthead. Orpha likely did this because of her brother Elza (Orlene's father) being a 1928 Olympic athlete was probably involved in this. He was active with his Olympic friends all his life.
