A FAVORITE 1920s IMAGE OF GLENDALE CALIFORNIA

CHERISHING OUR VALLEY         2013

Cities such as Glendale, Burbank and San Fernando remained independent of the annexation grabs of Los Angeles at the onset of the 20th century. This was due, in large measure, to their own water resources. Wells still play a factor in the growth of these communities. 
Here's one of my favorite images of Glendale.
